20ft & 40ft Shipping Containers – New & Used ISO Containers

PADDING

Shipping Containers are constructed of steel and were predominantly designed and built to securely transport cargo around the world.

They are manufactured to ISO standard in 8ft, 10ft, 20ft and 40ft & 45ft in length, and most commonly, 8ft in width and 8ft 6ins high. High Cube Shipping Containers also prove to be very popular and are 9ft 6ins in height. Although shipping containers can be converted to other sizes, they do not conform to industry shipping standards.

Are you looking to export your container? Remember, it must carry a valid CSC Certificate. This is an in-depth inspection of the container (similar to an MOT for a car) which is carried out at authorised container depots. This confirms the container is sea and cargo worthy. 8ft, 10ft, 20ft, 30ft & 40ft Storage Containers

Storage Containers however are usually Ex-Shipping Containers, which are guaranteed fully wind and water tight, and are very simple to secure, therefore ideal for storage use.

Containers can easily be modified, cut-down to various other sizes, and converted for use in various industries. They are made of 1.6mm thick corten steel, which slows the rusting process, and have 1 inch thick Marine plywood flooring.

PADDING

Site Delivery

Delivery and positioning of the container is carried out by our specialist transport companies. All vehicles used are fitted with Hi-Ab cranes, which enable us to correctly position your container. Off-loading a container with this type of vehicle is most common and helps to keep your costs down. Halo Containers will supply a shipping grade or storage container, you are happy to call your own.

Through each stage of the ordering process you will have one point of contact. Your chosen delivery site will be assessed prior to the container being dispatched. Please see our Delivery & Positioning Guide for more information.
